At the end of 2003, after 13 years and 6 hit albums that included numerous top ten radio hits as well as live classics Canadian reggae rock sensations Big Sugar called it quits. IMAGINARY CITIES DEBUT WITH 3 NXNE SHOWCASES: Imaginary Cities have just scored three NXNE showcases in Toronto, Ontario, from June 14 – 20, 2010, that they will be using to prepare the release of their debut album Temporary Resident. These concerts will mark the Toronto debut for the Winnipeg band that formed in late 2009 by Rusty Matyas (singer/guitarist, The Waking Eyes) and Marti Sarbit (vocalist, The Solutions). In Toronto, Ontario to embark on GRADY’s current Canadian tour, Gordie Johnson stopped by The Trews music video set . While showing photos of his kids on his camera the guys noticed a Grady shot and asked what it was. “I said ‘oh that’s our If I Was King video,’” explains Johnson, “they started looking at it and asking – “how can you have your video footage on your camera?’ I shot and directed it on my Sony Cyber-Shot digital camera.” |
